Description

The purpose of this assignment is to revise the model and make it child sensitive, primarily adding categories and indicators to the vulnerability dimension.
Emphasis will be placed on the use of the INFORM assessment model and the interactive platform, providing direct technical assistance to government institutions to include child sensitive climate and disaster risk data and analysis in their planning and programming procedures.
UNICEF is seeking a dedicated, proactive consultancy firm or an organization to work closely with Government and Non-Government partners to review theoretical framework for the existing INFORM model for Niger, facilitating the identification of indicator data sets and the construction of the INFORM index indicators and model with government line ministries, and the preparation of tools, procedures, and documentations for the revision of the existing INFORM. Once risk is understood and informed by data, high level sectoral briefs will need to be prepared to inform sector priorities for the mainstreaming of climate resilience and mitigation/adaptation investments.
