The specification sets out the requirements for procurement regarding the purchase, installation, ownership, operation, replacement (if required), management, and maintenance of the chargepoints and underground apparatus.

To fund this project the Council have been approved from the Energy Saving Trust (EST) for the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Funding and upon successful procurement of a Contractor will secure £1.448M.
