IWA Occupational Health Services 2023 Detailed description Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) is Ireland’s leading representative organisation and service provider for people with physical disabilities, with 20,000 members, over 2,500 employees, 57 local community centres and 2,000 volunteers.
With headquarters in Clontarf, Dublin 3, services provided by Irish Wheelchair Association include assisted living, transport provision, community centres and services, parking permits, driving tuition, housing and respite. It also provides information and support for people with physical disabilities through its customer care team and website.
The Occupational Health Provider will promote and maintain the health and well-being of employees across the IWA organisation.
The IWA require assistance from an Occupational Health Provider to:
• Monitor the health of the workforce
• Support the management of sickness absence
• Conduct pre-employment health assessments (Online)
• Provide advice and guidance around making reasonable adjustments to an employees working conditions
It is our desire to be able to share data with our OH provider safely and securely, to make on-line referrals and to receive on-line reports, to enable a better flow of information internally and externally and to produce reports quickly. It is our intention to streamline our service and make it more effective.
We aspire to receive high quality metrics relating to our OH Service Activity thus enabling us to improve the quality of our information on a regular basis.
