Waterways Ireland apply information in several ways to maintain sustainable development and respond to emerging issues along the inland waterways under its remit. Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) can support the decision-making processes within Waterways Ireland.
Waterways Ireland wish to investigate and match the applications and challenges/opportunities presented by NCA. Therefore Waterways Ireland wishes to commission a Natural Capital Assessment.
