Short description Provision of Labour and Equipment/Machinery Services for assistance with culling during Exotic Animal Disease Outbreaks: Understanding the Service Provider Market Detailed description The Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine (DAFM) is considering the procurement of a service to assist on sites where outbreaks of notifiable exotic animal diseases have occurred. Services required would include, but not be limited to, assistance with machinery-operated tasks during the cull, provision of certified teleporter/forklift drivers, and cleaning and disinfection tasks after the cull. It is also hoped that the service would provide all the necessary equipment for assisting with a cull. DAFM intends to run a competitive procurement process for such a service during 2023.
With this Request for Information (RFI), the Department is seeking detailed information from the market covering aspects such as market analysis, labour and equipment/machinery provision services, service and charging models etc. It is intended that this information will inform the Department to a sufficient level to facilitate the development of a detailed RFT, if it is decided to proceed.
