Waste arisings total c.5000 tonnes per annum mainly from kerbside collection services as well as from parks and grounds maintenance delivered by Authority. The Authority collects garden waste from residents at the kerbside through an opt-in subscription based collection service. There are approximately 22,000 households enrolled in the service, which has an annual participation rate of 28.6%.
