We have a collaborative approach to the support of asylum seekers and refugee's locally and sub-regionally. Including through the Lancashire Refugee and Asylum Strategic Partnership and BwD Asylum Seeker Multi Agency Forum.
Our approach applies across all asylum and refugee programme's as we look to maintain as higher degree of consistency as possible to all communities.

Blackburn with Darwen would like to implement an asylum seeker integration programme offer at local refugee and asylum seeker hubs in the borough and to have a role in supporting asylum seekers to participate in wider civic society, progress on to further volunteering, learning and employment.
